Support for children and families

Children and young people are suffering because they don't get help early enough and current crisis-driven approaches are unsustainable.

We know that tackling problems before families reach crisis point is better for everyone and can save public money, especially at a time when budgets are squeezed. Effective early support services can also help to reduce inequality and break cycles of deprivation.

We're working with other leading children's charities to promote a shift towards early intervention and preventative spending in children's services.
