Ben - Young Ambassador

How long have you been a Young Ambassador for?

I'm pretty new, I only joined the team a few months ago.

How is it that you became a Young Ambassador?

I had heard of the Young Ambassadors through the Early Help group I attended and wanted to join. I wanted to be able to offer other young people, like myself, the support and motivation I had received from Action for Children. I contacted one of the Young Ambassador leaders and they organised the rest.

Tell us a bit about what you have done with the Young Ambassador's so far.

So far I've helped judge the Stephenson Award nominations, and volunteered at Byte Night. I'm also going back to the Early Help group I attended to offer my support and inspire others to overcome any difficulties they are currently facing.

So far, what's your favourite thing about being a Young Ambassador?

It's great knowing I'm giving back to the charity and helping others, and it's also really nice to have an insight into the charity; seeing who works here and how each person makes a difference to the organisation.

Would you recommend becomming a Young Ambassador?
