Screen legend Shirley Anne Field has graced our screens across the decades, in cult classics such as Alfie, Don't Look Back In Anger, Saturday Night Sunday Morning and My Beautiful Launderette. Shirley Anne holds a special significance for us, as she was brought up in one of our NCH homes (Edgworth Children's Home). To show her support, she has done a huge amount over the years; from speaking at ladies' lunches and attending fundraising balls, to supporting heritage events, attending the 2014 Old Boys & Girls Reunion.

"Every child needs hope and a secure future, in these times as much as ever, and these are what Action for Children is uniquely placed to provide."
