Ken’s experience spans the communications spectrum. He started off as a journalist, working mainly for local newspapers as well as a spell on the Daily Mirror, before moving into PR.

For several years, he ran a series of PR companies including Kaizo Communications, operating mainly in the technology sector. He then set up his own communications company KDL, which he ran for five years before joining up with Paul Smith & Richard Baines to create The Amber Group.

Ken is the founder and co-chair of Byte Night, our largest annual fundraising event, which he initiated in 1998, raising over £7.3 million to support our work since.
