In 2012 Action for Children was chosen to be Nestlé’s charity of choice 2012-2015. Following three fantastic years working in partnership, we are very proud to announce that together we have raised an incredible £700,000 to support the most vulnerable children and young people across the UK.

Throughout our three year partnership Action for Children successfully engaged Nestlé’s 7,000 employees across all of their UK sites, helping to raise vital funds through a variety of fundraising activities including bake sales, challenge events and company balls.

Our incredibly successful partnership has made a real difference to the lives of the children and young people in greatest need of our support. With the generous support of Nestlé employees, we have been able to ensure vulnerable children receive the love, support and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.

"I am proud that Nestlé employees have been able to raise such a huge sum of money, and have given from their own pockets towards Action for Children’s services. The money will help fund the charity’s fostering services, support for families, its adoption work and its support to children with some of the most complex and challenging care needs."

Dame Fiona Kendrick, Chairman and CEO of Nestlé UK & Ireland

Sir Tony Hawkhead, CEO of Action for Children said: “On behalf of everyone at Action for Children I would like to thank Nestlé for their wonderfully generous support throughout our three year partnership. Nestlé employees have done a fantastic job fundraising for us, taking part in a variety of activities such as marathons, cycle challenges and bake sales. In total over the last three years, Nestlé has raised an incredible £700,000, helping us to continue to deliver our vital support to the most vulnerable children and young people across the UK."
